I was a very shy kid with low self esteem, I guess I am still pretty much that way as an adult. I always kept my emotions bottled up, never voicing my opinions or feelings. I was almost always uncomfortable around people with one exception, when I danced. No matter what was going on in my life, dance was always there for me. When I dance, I forget about all of my problems, I let everything go and I let my emotions come out through my body. For me, I HAD to dance, I just had to. Dance was as essential as breathing to me. There is no better feeling than getting on a stage and dancing, even if there is not one person in the audience, I still get that rush. Now, as a dance teacher, I am blessed to be able to share my love for dance and all it has done for me. I hope my students learn to just let go and dance, don't worry about anyone looking, or making a mistake, just dance. Dance when you're happy. Dance when you're angry. Dance when you're sad. Dance when you're lonely. Dance when you feel like no one understands how you feel. JUST DANCE
