Story

I have been dancing since the age of two. I have looked up to older dancers for inspiration and motivation. My whole life I have wanted to become that older girl that little girls look up too. Never once did I think about the responsibility that comes with that. Once you get to a certain point in your life you realize that you are at the top and that you must stay there in order to succeed. But that is not true. I realized this the hard way. Being a good dancer is not just about having little girls look up to you or having the best technique... It is about the passion and love for dance that you have. You should never judge yourself by how "good" of a dancer you are but how much passion that you put into this art that you do. In order to be that older girl that little girls look up to you need that passion you need that love and most of all you need to believe. You need to believe in yourself no matter how many people tell you that you will fail. No matter how many people say that you are not good enough. Because in the end will that really matter? Think about what you strive for in dance and do not let anyone take away from that. You are stronger than the ones who doubt you.
