Story

I am a small town northwestern Alberta girl that decided to take on her dreams in becoming a professional dancer. I moved to Vancouver to train and perform in all genres of dance. I've learned so much and have grown immensely the passed two and half years. There has been many ups and downs but it has shaped me into the dancer and human being I am and want to be. Looking back from where I started inspires me to keep going. My only obstacle getting in the way is my self confidence and not taking things personally when it comes to rejection and body shaming. I need to continue working hard and show the world and the industry I know that I got what it takes to make it. I have an amazing support system and I don't want to let them down by quiting over a silly job I didn't book or an opinion that doesn't matter. I have to keep moving forward. I dance because it makes me feel amazing! I have power when I dance! I can take myself to another place or reflect on a feeling or memory I have when I dance. I dance to express myself and to free myself from everyday stress. I dance because it is my passion and I can't imagine my life without it. Dance is my everything.

"Dance is a way to find yourself and lose yourself all at the same time."
