Story

I have been recovering from Anorexia Nervosa and the only thing that made me want to recover was when my studio suspended me from dancing, as I was too weak and had collapsed a few times. I spent a long time in hospital fighting for my life. My studio supported me through everything and when I was discharged gradually let me attend classes again, not pushing me on to quickly. My dance teacher took my safety and health into consideration before allowing me to attend full classes again. If it wasn't for the constant support and encouragement from my dance teacher I wouldn't be here today. I still have a few kilos left to gain, but my teacher is supporting me and has already noticed my strength has improved. Ballet truly has saved my life.
