I have struggled with scoliosis, and chronic low muscle tone for most of my life. The scoliosis causes lots of back pain and limits my flexibility in several directions. And with the low muscle tone It's really hard to maintain the muscle needed for dancing, but I fight for it. Through physical therapy and exercise, I practice every day. I now know what I want to become. I know the amazing opportunities and places dance takes me and I will continue to fight to achieve my goals, and hope others will do the same.
Never quit. If you fall, get back up. Whenever you feel like quitting do more turns because you'll feel how amazing it is to fly. If you hurt, grit your teeth and chase your dreams. Dance is so so beautiful and if you have a passion, don't loose it over anything.
